The NOPD arrested Rigoberto Usher (DOB: 7/9/1995) in connection with a reported kidnapping that occurred in the early hours today (July 12, 2017).
The reporting person stated that her juvenile daughter was last seen at about 1:40 a.m., when Usher came to their residence and picked up the juvenile, against the consent of her guardian. The juvenile and Usher then fled the location in Usher’s automobile.
Usher surrendered to police later in the day. He was arrested and booked into Central Lockup on a count of simple kidnapping.
The juvenile was located in good health and returned to her guardian.
