The NOPD is looking for a person of interest in connection to an armed robbery that took place on January 21, 2017, at approximately 11 p.m.
The person of interest is a black female possibly known by the nickname “Slim.” She is known to frequent the St. Roch neighborhood and may have valuable information concerning an armed robbery with a firearm that occurred at North Claiborne and Elysian Fields Avenue.

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
