The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm incident in the 3200 block of St. Claude Avenue.
On January 19, 2024, at approximately 11:50 p.m., the above-pictured subject entered a business and demanded that his cell phone be returned to him. The store clerk informed the subject that he could not retrieve his phone at the time. The above-pictured subject refused to leave when asked and pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at the victim. The perpetrator fled the location in a red Ford Mustang with a Florida license plate.
