The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating and identifying a suspect in the ongoing investigation of an armed carjacking on January 19, 2022 in the 5600 block of Charlotte Drive.
At about 5:13 p.m., while the victim was sitting in the driver’s seat with the vehicle parked, a black male attired in a black mask covering his face and clear gloves, approached the victim’s vehicle on the passenger side. The male pointed a black handgun at the victim, while using it to tap on the passenger side window, while ordering the victim out of her vehicle. When the victim complied, the perpetrator entered the vehicle and fled southbound in the 5600 block of Charlotte Dr.
