Heroin, Meth, Ecstasy Found on Subjects during Undercover Operation in First District

Officers in the First District arrested Gabriel Bell (DOB:10/21/87) and Wayman Williams (DOB:12/14/87) for possessing multiple drugs.

The incident happened on January 9, 2018.  Officers in the First District General Assignment Unit performed an undercover surveillance operation in the 600 block of North Gayoso Street. During the operation, officers observed Gabriel Bell’s vehicle parked in the block.

Officers then observed Bell enter the trunk of a white Crown Victoria several times and make hand-to-hand drug transactions. Officers also observed Williams, who is the registered owner of the vehicle, enter the trunk as well. Both subjects were arrested during the incident, and a search warrant was then secured for the vehicle.

During the search, officers located ecstasy, meth, heroin, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in the trunk of the vehicle.

Anyone with any other information on the arrested subjects should contact any First District detective at 504-658-6010. Citizens with information that can help solve a crime are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
