NOPD Seeking to Locate Suspects in Fifth District Shooting Incident

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating multiple suspects in the investigation of a shooting that occurred on February 11, 2024, at the intersection of Saint Claude and Saint Roch avenues.

At about 1:50 a.m. on February 11, NOPD Fifth District officers were notified of a reckless driving incident at the location. As officers were en route to the scene, at about 2:15 a.m., they were also notified of a shooting at the same location. Upon arrival, officers did not find a shooting victim. However, officers were notified soon after that a shooting victim had arrived to a local hospital via private conveyance.

Through investigation, detectives determined that the shooting incident stemmed from the reckless driving incident. Officers located an abandoned crashed red Chevrolet Corvette at the intersection of Urquhart and Music streets. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen on February 8 from Houston, Texas. The vehicle was reported to have been driving recklessly at the intersection and allegedly struck numerous people. The victim was reportedly rendering aid to those involved when he was struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported in reference to the collision.

Through further investigation, detectives determined that gunshots were fired by multiple people in this incident.

Detectives are asking for assistance in identifying and locating the pictured subjects, believed to be the occupants of the Corvette as well as three subjects who allegedly fired gunshots in this incident.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Anyone with additional information that can assist in this investigation is urged to contact NOPD Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050. Those wishing to report information anonymously can do so by calling Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
