NOPD Arrests Suspects for Theft and Possession of Stolen Property

The NOPD has arrested Queinton Duplessis (pictured at left, DOB: 08-28-1993) and Dillion Damond (pictured at right, DOB: 06-24-1993) in connection with a package theft incident reported in the 2200 block of Cobblestone Lane on January 24, 2018.

On February 8, 2018, Fourth District detectives were conducting a follow-up investigation regarding several additional thefts reported in the area. Through investigation, Duplessis and Damond were developed as suspects in the aforementioned incident.

Duplessis was arrested for allegedly stealing delivered packages in front of the victim’s door and pawning the property. He was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for theft and possession of stolen property.

Damond was arrested for theft after he allegedly entered the victim’s apartment and took items without permission. A convicted felon, Damond was also arrested for violation of parole and on warrants issued out of Lafourche, St. Martin and Lafayette parishes for theft, burglary and illegal possession of stolen property.
