Missing Person Reported from Canal Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a man reported as missing.

Derrick Jones (DOB: 06-19-1978) was last seen by his brother walking on Canal Street near Harrah’s Casino on November 25, 2017 at about 10:30 p.m. He has not been seen or heard from since that time.

Jones was wearing a blue plaid long sleeve shirt, blue denim pants and blue sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Derrick Jones is asked to contact Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080.
