Person of Interest Sought for Questioning by NOPD in Investigation of 2017 Homicide

The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person of interest for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide that occurred on August 12, 2017, in the 1300 block of Reynes Street.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit Cold Case detectives have developed Keesha Chaneau (pictured, black female, DOB: 01-12-1971) as a person of interest. Chaneau is not currently wanted on criminal charges in this investigation. However, detectives feel she has knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview her.
