The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Aaron Henderson (DOB: 03-13-1995) in connection with a reported aggravated assault with a firearm that occurred on August 19, 2018 in the 5100 block of Basinview Drive.
Through investigation, detectives determined that at about 2:39 p.m., Henderson was reportedly involved in a verbal altercation with the victim outside of the victim’s sister’s residence. During the course of the verbal altercation, Henderson allegedly punched the victim in her face, after which he departed the scene. A short while later, Henderson reportedly returned to the scene, pointed a handgun at the victim and her sister and then fired several shots into the air before fleeing the scene.
When located, Henderson will be arrested for battery of a dating partner, aggravated assault upon a dating partner, two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal discharge of a firearm.
