Suspect Wanted by NOPD in Aggravated Assault on Pace Boulevard

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Hyran Brooks (DOB: 11-12-1985) in connection with an aggravated assault that took place on August 15, 2017 in the 1900 block of Pace Boulevard.

During the incident, the perpetrator allegedly brandished a firearm and fired multiple shots at the victims while the victims were sitting inside of a vehicle. The perpetrator then reportedly fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

As investigation into the incident progressed, Fourth District detectives were able to positively identify Brooks as the perpetrator in this incident.
