NOPD Seeking Suspect in Simple Battery

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Brandon Wiltz (DOB: 04-26-1991) in connection with an aggravated battery and custodial kidnapping that occurred today (August 29, 2017).

Wiltz was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with his child’s mother concerning his request for money. During this altercation, Wiltz allegedly struck the victim in the head with the butt of a pistol. After this altercation, Wiltz then reportedly took possession of their 15-month-old child, advising the victim that if she wished to see the child again, he would need the requested money.

The child was later found unharmed at a relative’s residence.

Wiltz is wanted for simple domestic battery in this incident.
