NOPD Arrests Suspect in Fourth District on Multiple Charges

On April 6, 2021, NOPD Fourth District officers arrested Charles Steadman (pictured, male, DOB: 05-21-1964), who was wanted on numerous charges involving multiple incidents.

On April 6, Fourth District officers located and stopped Steadman, who had been placed wanted in relation to an aggravated burglary incident, in the 4600 block of Macarthur Boulevard.  Steadman was arrested without incident.  Further investigation revealed Steadman was wanted for several outstanding warrants dating back to October 2019.

Steadman was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on charges including aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, home invasion, criminal damage to property, simple battery, domestic abuse battery, simple assault and violation of a protective order.
