NOPD Arrests Suspect in Fourth District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD has arrested Terry Seymore (pictured, male, DOB: 05-20-1995) in the investigation of an aggravated assault incident on April 3, 2021 in the 4200 block of General DeGaulle Drive.

During the incident, Seymore had reportedly accused the victim of stealing from him. Seymore then allegedly brandished a handgun, pointed the weapon at the victim’s face and demanded his property which the victim reportedly did not have in his possession. Responding officers safely detained Seymore and he was arrested on scene. During his arrest, Seymore was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun, two bags of marijuana and a digital scale.

Seymore was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of narcotics.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040.
