The NOPD has arrested four wanted suspects in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on May 31, 2022, in the 7900 block of Stroelitz Street.

A list of arrests or clearances by warrant obtained between June 5-12, 2022, in violent crime investigations by the NOPD.

The NOPD has arrested Kirk Jefferson (not pictured, black male, DOB: 08-21-1987) in the investigation of a traffic fatality that occurred during the early hours today (June 11, 2022) on Interstate 10 East near RIdgeway Drive that left one person dead.

On Thursday, June 9, 2022, Jordan Mitchell (not pictured, black male, DOB: ) of Slidell, La. was arrested in the ongoing NOPD investigation of an aggravated battery by shooting that occurred earlier that day at the intersection of Marques Drive and Chef Menteur Highway and left two teenage juveniles injured. The arrest was made through the assistance of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.

Today (June 9, 2022), the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Ryan Williams (pictured, black male, DOB: 10-19-1980) in the investigation of a homicide on September 16, 2020, in the 1600 block of Desire Street.
